In the fall of 2024, part of Angsjöleden will be under water. The county administrative board will repair the footbridge on the section in 2025.
It is where Angsjöleden passes Björkbäcken that the trail is currently impassable due to high water.
It is still possible to reach Angsjökojan via the trail if you go from the main entrance via the ramp.
If you want to walk a similar route as Angsjöleden, we recommend Guldbäcksleden.
Description
After the entrance area with ramp, information, rest area, cold spring and gold star, the red trail continues over marshes and really nice old forest. After a little over a kilometer you reach Angsjökojan.
If you continue around the lake, you will soon pass Björkbäcken and enter a hilly section. The trail goes very steeply up the slope so take it carefully. Finally, the trail goes on the old logging dam and beautiful arch bridge over Angsjöbäcken back to the entrance Angsjö.
