Winter bathing facilities at Skymningen badplats 3 km outside the city.
At Skymningens badplats you can try winter bathing. In case of ice there will be a hole made (usually at weekends).There is a Facebook group for winter bathing: Vinterbadare Kristinehamn
Please observe
- Be very careful getting in and out of the water, the wooden jetty can be slippery.
- Don't stay long.
- DO NOT bathe if you have high blood pressure.
- You may get cold allergies with itching.
Please bathe with care. Winter bathing is very beneficial if performed correctly.
