Sahlströmsgården combines art and recreation, good food and accommodation in a peaceful environment. In the restaurant you can eat food cooked from scratch and at Sahlströmsgården's museum you can meet three artists Anna, Bror and Ida Sahlström. Now, hotel guests can once again be accommodated on the farm, just as in Ida, Anna and Bror's time - the three siblings who all became artists to their father's great chagrin.

About the hotel

The new hotel combines old and new with 30 personalized double rooms. All rooms have wooden floors, tiled bathrooms, TV, wireless internet and a wonderful view of Lake Sirsjön. Come and enjoy a dream in the middle of reality. Several rooms are accessible and pets are welcome in some rooms. Sahlströmsgården offers several different accommodation packages with lovely dinners and activities.

Examples of activities in the area

Take the opportunity to bathe in the new wood-fired sauna overlooking Sirsjön. Finish off with a dip in the lake. There are two easy hiking trails starting from the farm. One of 1.6 km and the longer one of 4 km. Sisistigen can also be hiked from Sahlströmgården, a 10 km long hike that takes you through scenic environments to Torsby center.
