Description
Brattfallet is a 10-meter high waterfall, which runs deep in a ravine. The canyon of Brattfallet and Halgån has always been a tourist destination. A high and beautiful old stone bridge crosses the canyon. There are high geological values due to the impact of Halgån, Vångan and Klarälven on the landscape. Halgåleden shows how the forces of nature have shaped the landscape from the Ice Age to the present. New landslides and avalanches occur every year. Signs explain the geological processes and tell about cultural remains. Nice view of the Klarälvdalen valley. The height difference of 122 meters makes the trail difficult. The Halgåleden trail can be combined with the Halgåleden hiking trail.
