Description
Bomstadbaden is a child-friendly bathing area by Lake Vänern. The 400 meter long sandy beach is shallow with fine sand and is usually referred to as Värmland's riviera.
Bomstadbaden is located a few minutes west of Karlstad and is run by the family camping site Karlstad Swecamp. Here there is dining, kiosks, toilets, a separate dog bath, mini golf and other activities in the area. Bomstadbaden is well-visited and very popular among families with children, given the fine sand and shallow bathing area.
