This relatively long stage is one of the newest sections of the Upplandsleden. It runs largely through the large forests east of Huddunge. The terrain is not always easy to get around in, the forests contain blocky terrain and many wetlands. Therefore, the stage runs both on paths, but also partly on gravel and forest roads.
You start in the small community of Huddunge. Parking is available at the parish hall next to Huddunge school. There is also a shop and bus stop nearby. The first part of the stage goes along a country road past the ruins of Huddunge old church, which was probably built in the 14th century, and on through Huddunge radby.
After 2.5 km you arrive at Myransjön. There is a bathing area with a sandy beach and a jetty, as well as picnic tables and a barbecue area. The hike continues a bit further along the road before the trail turns into forest trails. Now follows a stretch first on path and then forest road. After about 5 km you reach Ruthagsskogens nature reserve, a real wilderness area with old stately pines and the vast Eternal Moss. Here you walk along a path over rocky areas and through areas with fragrant water hemlock. There are also plenty of blueberries and lingonberries.
On the other side of Ruthagsskogen you continue on a path over Fännsjöberget rocky ground. Here the terrain is not entirely easy to walk. Eventually you will arrive at Järpenstorp, a former forest ranger village that is also a remnant of one of Uppland's largest pastoral settlements. The site is now managed by Harbo Hembygdsförening. There is an open picnic hut, tables and benches and a barbecue area. Hikers are welcome to stop here for a break.
The last bit up to Siggeforasjön you follow a wide power line street and then gravel road and path over a hill with rocks before you reach the highway that leads past Siggefora camping. There is a swimming area next to the campsite. The end of the stage is on the western side of the lake. If you continue a bit along the next stage, stage 21, there is a shelter on the southwest side of the lake.
