Smultronställe Hummelfjärd i Tallparken

Hummelfjärden, in the western part of the park, is a narrowed bay

a so-called glo where fine-grained sand and bottom material

_has given rise to a very nutritious and vegetation-rich

freshwater lake. This means that the lake is bordered by alder and willow,

high reeds, cattail and large herbs like sword lily,

crow's clover, willowherb and water lily. Then follows a floating-leaf zone

with white water lily covering large parts of the water surface.

Even outside the lily pads the lake is rich in vegetation.

with underwater meadows where creeping algae and creeping plants

serve as a growth environment for fish fry. Both pike and perch

arrive in the spring
