Naturstig Öberget-Tinäsområdet

From Öberget there is a longer hiking trail totaling about 16 km with the possibility of choosing shorter alternatives. In addition to the hiking trail, there is an easy gravel road that goes all the way to the open cottage Alderbäcksrör. The gravel path can be used by those who have difficulty walking or for wheelchairs / strollers. The toilet at Öberget is currently not accessible. The trail is marked orange on the map and in nature. This is the wildest part of the national park with great chances of seeing grouse, capercaillie and other species characteristic of the national park.

At Öberget there are information boards, parking lots, outhouses and shelters with fireplaces. Overnight stays in tents, hammocks or on the ground are permitted. To get to the Överg entrance from the north, you may need to cross the Dalälven in By or at the Hovnäs ferry
