Smultronställe Fågelsundets Naturstig

Fågelsundet is an old fishing village on the northernmost part of the Hållnäs peninsula. Adjacent to the fishing village is the gem, Fågelsundet's nature trail. The trail is 2 km long and runs through forests with old pines, over striped rocks and past beautiful orchids. Here you can experience plant and animal life that is unique to North Uppland. From the end of May until midsummer, the rare göl frogs play in Kallviken.

There are six numbered posts along the trail. Take a leaflet at the parking lot and read about what you can see and hear at each post.

At Fågelsundet you can rent modern cabins with a sea view. For those who come here by boat, there are four guest places. During the summer, there is a café and kiosk at the fishing port. You can also buy smoked and fresh fish and join boat trips.
