Billhamn is an old fishing village in a quiet bay on Billudden. The bay itself is a dead ice pit, a pit formed when a block of ice was embedded in the shingle ridge and then melted. Land uplift has meant that the old boat houses are now high above the water. Today, no fishermen live here, but the houses are used as summer cottages.
