Description
Ängbyskogen is an urban nature reserve within walking distance of central Knivsta. The area is used a lot by the nearby school. The forest is crossed by several paths. Some are only for walkers. On others you can both walk and cycle or ride.
The easiest way to enter the area is via one of the five entrances shown on the map. At each entrance there is an information sign and map of the area.
There are two barbecue areas in Ängbyskogen. One is located at Naturpunkt Ängbyskogen, next to Ängby park. The other is further into the reserve. If you want to grill, you need to bring your own firewood.
The blue marked paths are for walkers. On the yellow marked paths you can both walk and ride. The orange-marked Upplandsleden, stage 1:1 also runs through Ängbyskogen. On Upplandsleden you can walk and cycle, but not ride.

Ängbyskogen is located on the north-western outskirts of Knivsta. The easiest way to get to the area is by public transport. You can take the bus or train to Knivsta station. From the west side of the station, follow the orange-marked Upplandsleden 0.5 km to the entrance in the eastern part of the reserve.
