Description
Velamsund nature reserve is one of Nacka's largest outdoor areas. The reserve is located in eastern Boo and borders Värmdö municipality. Velamsund's farm is a popular destination and a good starting point if you want to explore the nature reserve.

There are several hiking and exercise trails in the area, including an illuminated 2.5 km long lighted trail. Booleden is a longer hiking trail that passes through the area. There is also a circular trail called the Green Trail of 4 km and another called the Red Trail of 6 km. Directions
Velamsund is about 18 km from Slussen. By bus you go to Kihls Gård in Boo. From the bus stop, follow Velamsundsvägen down to the farm, a walk of about 2 kilometers.
By car, take road 222. Exit at Orminge intersection and turn right on Ormingeleden, towards Orminge Centrum, then right on Värmdövägen. Follow the signs towards Velamsund. Parking is available at the farm area.

Bor bara några hundra meter från detta fantastiska område. Springer där nästan varje dag. Storslagen natur. Kryddat med djurliv, och fika på Långa raden :-)
Ja, det är en helt ok led, som går igenom reservatet, men fortsätter en bra bit in på Värmdölandet. Annars finns riktigt fina lite kortare slingar i reservatet. Testa gärna Getstigen: https://www.naturkartan.se/sv/stockholms-lan/getstigen-velamsund
