We were alerted to the fact that some parts of the footbridges are in poor condition. We have been out and checked and measured everything that needs to be replaced or maintained and will try to fix it as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience and attention to it.

Welcome to visit one of Botkyrka's most recently formed nature reserves. The Uringeån river flows through the reserve from its outlet in Lilla skogssjön. Here you will find untouched forest, much of which is swamp forest. Here thrives the wolverine (our smallest forest bird) and several other species associated with pristine swamp forests. Towards the lakeside at Lilla skogssjön you will find marshland with old pines that give a "Norrland" feeling. Visitors to the reserve can walk throughout the reserve via two bridges over the river. A hiking trail of just over 3 km leads you around the reserve and connects further south to the parking lot along road 257. The hiking trail is marked in yellow. Reserve information is available at the parking lot by road 257 and in three places inside the reserve.

A parking lot that can accommodate three to four cars is located along road 257. If you type in Svartkällskogens nature reserve in Google maps, you will find it.

To protect the natural values in Svartkällskogen nature reserve, special regulations apply. Among other things, it is forbidden to damage land, plants, trees or wildlife and to fish for fish and crayfish.

Certain activities, such as prolonged camping, major events or the erection of signs, require municipal permission. If you are planning an activity that contravenes the regulations, you need to apply for a permit or exemption in advance.
