Description
Stenmursparken is a park located between Fornminnesvägen and Allévägen in central Vallentuna. Next to the park is Kantarellen preschool and Väsbygården nursing home.
The park was upgraded to a "fruit park" in the fall of 2020. Apple trees, berry bushes, a butterfly bed area and insect attracting perennials were planted out in the park.
The aim is to promote biodiversity, especially insects and birds, and to provide a beautiful place for recreation and experiences for all ages, where visitors can eventually pick berries and apples for their own use.
