Description
Skavlöten's outdoor recreation facility is located at the northern end of Rönningesjön. There are several jogging trails and lighted trails, an outdoor gym, a nice swimming area with a beach and jetties, a fishing pier and more.
There are showers, saunas, changing rooms and a warming hut in the open-air center, as well as catering at certain times.
There are also large grass areas, walking paths, a nature playground, windbreaks and several fireplaces at Skavlöten.
In winter, ski tracks are laid when the weather permits, and Rönningesjön is plowed for an approximately 5 km long skating rink. There is also a small pitch and goals on the ice.
The area is part of the southern Rönninge and Skavlötens nature reserve, with natural and cultural values.

Har nu besökt skavlötens bastu 2 tisdagar i följd och funnit en helt ny och i många stycken bättre bastu än före renoveringen men saknar ännu några detaljer. Då jag är 83 år och har förlorat en del muskelstyrka vore det önskvärt att den lilla trappstegen till den högre laven återkommer. Dessutom vore det önskvärt med korgar för shampoo-burkar vid duscharna. Vattentemperaturen i duscharna är numera OK. Tack för trevligt och lagom varmt bastu.
