Description
The last stage of the Roslagsleden offers a seaside hike in the Swedish summer cottage idyll on Väddö and in the Tullviksbäcken nature reserve. The proximity to the Åland Sea is a reminder throughout the tour with several sandy beaches, pebble fields and former fishing villages.
The stage starts at Sandviken bathing area and winds its way north on gravel roads and paths along the Väddö coast.

North from Skottviken towards Flisbergen, an area spreads out with ancient limestone that contributes to a unique flora and insects.
The tour continues through Tullviksbäcken nature reserve on a forest path that is more hilly and challenges the hiker. The surrounding nature is beautiful and close to the sea. Tullviksbäcken is one of the most important reproduction areas for sea trout in Stockholm County and is a popular place for anglers.
At Fjällboholmar there is a rest area with benches and the opportunity to swim at the small sandy beach.
When you leave the nature reserve, you will be met by Kvarnsand's bathing area with a fine sandy beach. Here you can also rest by the fireplace or visit the toilet.
The hike continues through Havstomta and Räfsterviken's summer cottage idyll. In Badviken you get another chance to swim from a sandy beach.
The Roslagsleden trail ends in Grisslehamn and you reach the town via the shoreline. On your way into Grisslehamn, you pass the studio of artist and writer Albert Engström, painted like a sea mark in red and white. The sights appear in a row with the optical telegraph on Kanonberget and the Albert Engströmsmuseet and the summer-opening Café Kalaset.
In Grisslehamn there are shops, a grocery store, a fishmonger, restaurants, cafés and Hotell Havsbaden. There is also a lively fishing port.
With Eckerölinjen's ferries to Åland, you can continue your hike on the European hiking trail E6 and the Sankt Olof Waterway pilgrimage trail. The Vikingaleden is also a pilgrimage trail that connects with the Roslagsleden in Grisslehamn and takes you further towards Gimo and the Upplandsleden. Nearest bus station at stage start: Älmsta bus station, about 4.5 kilometers from the start of the stage. Follow Roslagsleden stage 10 from Älmsta to Sandviken to get to the stage start for the eleventh stage.

Regulations
The trail is marked by a band of orange painted on the trees. Occasionally signposts also guide the way and give distances. You´ll find an information board at the start and end of every section.
As a hiker, you have a responsibility to be considerate and helpful to others who share the trail with you and to find out about local regulations that apply where you want to hike.
When you are in the countryside along the Roslagsleden trail, the Right of Public Access applies, which means both obligations and rights for you as a hiker.
Take your trash home with you.
Preferably use the designated toilets and restrooms along the trail. If you need to relieve yourself in nature, move away from the trail and rest areas and choose a spot far from watercourses. Dig a hole, relieve yourself, cover the hole. Bring toilet paper and wipes home in a plastic bag.

helt fantastisk tur längs hav och på skogsstigar. flera tillfällen för bad längs vandringen. Dricksvatten går att fylla på. Ett jobbigt stenparti, man kan välja en lättare genväg om man vill.
