Saltbergstigen

The path runs in and near Hågelby hage, which is a natural pasture that the municipality has restored. Today, cows are once again grazing in the pasture. They graze on the edge of the forest so that the land is kept open.

This benefits the plants and animals that depend on meadows and pastures. This area has been farmed since the Bronze Age. The path passes, among other things, various types of burial ground and an ancient castle. Along the trail there are information boards describing the individual cultural and natural environments in more detail. Parts of the path go through a cow pasture.
