Description
Malmaön became a military area in 1916, while houses and recreational areas grew up on Fågelbrolandet, Malmaön remained undeveloped. This means that visitors have access to a large untouched natural area. In 2019, the nature area was thinned to restore it to its original state in collaboration with the County Administrative Board. The area is located about 7 km into Malmavägen, follow road 222 and turn off at the sign for Malma. The parking lot is on the left just before you reach the nature reserve and is clearly marked.

Inte värt att åka till om man inte har nära till platsen. Kalhygge större delen av vägen med oländigt terräng.
konstig parkeringsskylt för att vara ett naturreservat. den så kallade natur återställningen är bedrövlig! ser ut som ett kalhygge till 80 % av vägen! jättegrytorna är dock helt fantastiska!
