At Kajak & Uteliv we offer you great paddling opportunities, both for beginners and experienced paddlers. We start from our two kayak bases in Stockholm's northern archipelago, Gräddö and Furusund, but the whole archipelago is waiting for you.
On Gräddö in the borderland between the lush inner archipelago and the more barren outer archipelago you can rent a kayak, take a kayak course or participate in a guided kayak tour. We also offer stand up paddle courses and board rentals. From Stockholm: Take the E18 towards Norrtälje. Continue the road towards Kapellskär. At the sign Gräddö and Räfsnäs sea rescue station turn left. Continue straight ahead until you reach Gräddö village, drive past ICA and turn right at the marina. Kajak&Uteliv is located at the far end of the cape in Bygdegården.
From Uppsala: Take the E4 south towards Stockholm. Follow signs for Norrtälje, at the Brunnby junction turn off the E4 and drive onto road 77. Now follow road 77 until it turns into E18. Continue E18 towards Kapellskär. At the sign Gräddö and Räfsnäs sea rescue station turn left. Continue straight ahead until you reach Gräddö village, drive past ICA and turn right at the marina.
