Description
Between Jordbro and Västerhaninge commuter train stations lies the Nordic region's largest burial ground from the early Iron Age! The burial ground has over 800 visible graves. There are probably even more graves hidden underground. The cemetery gives you a glimpse of Haninge two thousand years ago, and you can read more about the Iron Age and various grave formations on the signs posted in the area. A few graves are from the Bronze Age, which are even older. There are also finds from a Stone Age settlement.
