Description

Igelbäcken is about 10 km long and flows from Säbysjön in Järfälla across Järvafältet to Ulriksdal Castle at Edsviken. Igelbäcken is Stockholm's most species-rich stream, and is perhaps best known for the rare fish greenling. The greenling is a small, slender bottom-dwelling fish with brown spots on its back and three pairs of beard tufts around its mouth.
