Compared to the rest of the terrain in the nature reserve, the walkway is relatively flat. However, there is a steep slope that can make it difficult for wheelchair users to get around. The walkway is lined with a pine forest, depressions with large old pines and mixed forest with deciduous elements.

After about 400 meters you will reach a viewpoint with a magnificent view of the Stockholm inlet. Here there is a bench table with a grill and just below there is also a wooden deck intended for yoga or other exercise. From the viewpoint, a wooden staircase leads down to Vikdalsvägen with the possibility of further walking over Svindersviksbron. Another option is to continue along the beach promenade below.
