Grönsta Sticklinge milspår

Lidingöloppets last mile is a 10 km track that starts and ends at Grönsta gärde. The trail has lighting and is illuminated from 5:00 to sunrise and from sunset to 22:00. The trail runs largely in shoreline forest on Lidingö's northernmost part through Trolldalen, Kyttinge, Sticklinge and Islinge. Along the trail there is old forest, nature values, windbreaks, barbecue areas, swimming and ancient remains (burial ground at Tyktorpsvägen). Grönsta gärde has good parking facilities and is the finishing area for the lidingöloppet. Shorter jogging trails also start from Grönsta gärde. Here stands "Löparmonumentet", a sculpture by Lidingö artist Sven Lundqvist. The names of the winners of the Lidingö race are engraved on the base of the sculpture. There is also a small parking lot south of Sticklinge at Lidingö's oldest burial ground.
