Description

"Fjäderholmarna" have the National City Park's richest variation of archipelago birds. They have the Stockholm archipelago's largest colony of the unusual lesser black-backed gull and nesting barnacle geese. The islands are distinctive for a wide species diversity.

Another place that is nice to visit is the hill in the southeast, Gröneborg, with the Arla Coldinu Order monument. A visit here should take place after breeding season, from the month of July, otherwise you can get attacked by nesting gulls. If you go on the Strömma Winter tour, you can see a lot of wintering seabirds, including sea eagles.

There are plenty of good rest areas all around the island. Between June and September there are several dining options open with good service.
