Frötuna kyrka

The church is located on Lake Kyrk. The oldest part was built in the 12th century, but around 1330 the church underwent extensive alterations inspired by the Gothic style then prevalent. The interior of the church is mainly characterized by the 18th century, when the altar, altar ring, altarpiece and pew furnishings were added. In the church there is a copy of a large St. Olaf image from the early 14th century.
