There are no regular connections to the reserve. For those who have access to a boat, the natural harbor on the south side of Fifång Island has jetties for visiting boats. You can easily get here from the fairway.

Regulations

To protect the Fifång Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow.

In the reserve it is forbidden to:

  • drill, hack, blast, carve, dig, paint or in any way damage rock, soil or stone
  • breaking branches, felling or otherwise damaging living or dead trees and shrubs
  • dig up plants such as rice, herbs, grasses, mosses and lichens, or remove woody fungi, or pull out underwater plants
  • disturbing wildlife (e.g. by climbing trees or capturing or killing mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians)
  • bringing dogs that are not on a leash
  • anchoring a boat in the same place for more than three consecutive days. The regulation does not apply at a jetty,
  • camping in the same place for more than three consecutive days,
  • make fires other than in the designated place
  • conduct berthing (transhipment of goods between ships)
  • use chemical pesticides for oil spill cleanup.
