Description
At Domarudden nature reserve and open-air farm you will find everything from swimming, lake sauna and catering to areas for play and games and cabins for overnight stays. Within the nature reserve there is untouched nature, exercise trails and the opportunity for noble fishing in Drängsjön with a fishing license.
Domaruddens nature reserve and outdoor farm is beautifully situated by Drängsjön and is an excellent starting point for those who want to hike in magical and beautiful forest environments. There are prepared exercise trails around the open-air farm, but both the Roslagsleden and Blå leden trails also pass through here.
The old Domarudden croft has served as a hostel since the 1940s. The facility has now been expanded so that it is also possible to accommodate large groups living in cabins. Visitors have a wide range of activities to choose from. Depending on the season, you can run or ski on the jogging trails, fish for noble fish in Lake Drängsjön or take a sauna and then cool off with a chilly winter bath.
Exercise trails in Domarudden
From Domarudden's open-air farm, there is a 2.5-kilometer-long lighted trail. It is a wide track, which is covered with gravel and is also suitable for prams and wheelchairs. There is also a 5.5-kilometer trail, a 10-kilometer trail and a small wilderness trail.
The electric light comes on at dusk and stays on until around midnight. The lights are also on in the morning from 5 am until daylight.
