Description

The mill is dominated by the 45 meter high ski slope. In winter, the ski slope is run by Järfälla Alpina Klubb together with Järfälla municipality. Here you can ski slalom, freeride and rails.

In summer, the slope can be used for interval training or for a challenging walk. Reward awaits at the top where you can enjoy the expansive view. For off-road cycling, there is a bike park with jumps and a mountain bike track.

The name Bruket comes from the brickworks that the then owners of Görvälns Castle built in the 18th century. The clay for the bricks was taken from the land around Görväln. The brickworks workers lived in the red wooden building known as the Mill. Today, the old workers' housing is used as a leisure and catering facility. Café Bruket is open in the summer, and you can hire canoes and play beach volleyball here.

Lovely walks

A stroller-friendly promenade also runs from Bruket. If you walk north you will reach Görvälns castle and if you walk south you will reach Görvälnsbadet. Along the way there are several picnic and barbecue areas. The promenade partly coincides with Upplandsleden.
