04 Gärdets tunnelbanestation södra entré – Af Chapman, Skeppsholmen, Signaturled Stockholm

Stage 4 of STF Signaturled Stockholm goes over several different marked trails that run in and out of each other. Use this digital map as your trail marker. The easiest way to get to the start of the stage is to take the metro's red line to Gärdet metro station. Choose the southern exit towards Gärdet. The stage initially runs out onto Ladugårdsgärdet, past Kaknästornet and further out onto Norra Djurgården's pastures. Along the trail there are lots of museums, attractions, restaurants and cafés. In Kaknäshagen, the trail meets the sea and then follows Norra Djurgården's beach over to Södra Djurgården, rounds Blockhusudden and runs along the beautiful promenade all the way to Valdemarsudde. If you want to take a shortcut to the destination, you can take the Djurgården ferry from Gröna Lund over to Skeppsholmen. For those who want to continue on foot instead, the trail continues across the island via Rosendals Trädgård and Rosendal Palace to Djurgårdsbrunnsviken and via Kärleksudden over Djurgårdsbron. Finally, a beautiful city walk awaits along the waterfront on Strandvägen, via Nybroplan, out on Blasieholmen and last but not least the stage destination STF Flaggskepp Af Chapman and Skeppsholmen's hostel. Perhaps an excellent opportunity for something good to drink on the sun deck?
