Valla gårds viltvatten

Most ducks can be seen here. There is a gull colony some years and black-necked grebes sometimes nest. Resting geese can be seen in the surrounding fields during spring. They are mostly barnacle geese, but also some white-fronted geese and pink-footed geese. The open fields attract many birds of prey, including golden eagles and peregrine falcons.

The afternoons are best as, at least on clear days, there is difficult backlighting in the mornings.
