Description

Turebergsgrottan is a fault crack whose branches form passages and chambers in the rock that you reach via two entrances, one from the east and one from the west. The western entrance leads to a spacious rock passage from which you enter the cave cavity located about two meters further down. The entrance and vault have a total length of about 15 meters.

The cave is visited at your own risk and is suitable for school-age children accompanied by an adult. You will find Turebergsgrottan just outside Mellösa on the way to Hälleforsnäs. At the 70 signs, there is a transformer station on the left. Park your car there and then follow the signs to the cave, which is about 400 meters further on.
