Bergsrundan hiking loop

Bergsrundan is a beautiful circuit of just under 7 km that shows much of Sörmland, on a smaller scale. The loop has typical Sörmland nature, including field islets, rocky hills, gravel roads, and hiking along watercourses, with the opportunity to make detours to reach forest lakes or the sea.

It's perfect for those who want to go hiking for a couple of hours on the weekend. It's suitable for families with younger participants, where 7 km, with the option of overnight stays in shelters (to be constructed in winter 2023/24), can turn into a complete adventure. It also caters to hikers on the Sörmlandsleden trail who want to take a detour to Bergs Gård for a luxurious stay in charming cabins, relaxation, a seaside sauna, a café, food, and a visit to our farm shop..

You can start and finish the loop at various locations. At Bergs Gård, there is parking spaces, and you can start and end your journey here. It also partly connects to stages 54 and 55 of the Sörmlandsleden trail. Together, Bergsleden and Sörmlandsleden can take you to several of our colleagues who have attractions, such as Nynäs Castle, Havrevreten, and, of course, the charming town of Trosa.

During the winter of 2023/24, Bergs Gård will be constructing a shelter in the northern part and another one by the sea along the MTB trail called Havsleden. See www.bergsgard.se for a map.
