Description

Rift valleys, deciduous forests and sparkling forest streams - Söderåsen is Sweden's southernmost wilderness and there are nature experiences for everyone. You can go on a day hike in pathless country or take a stroller and wheelchair around Odensjön or Skärdammen. Start with a visit to Naturum Söderåsen for inspiration and tips.

Söderåsen National Park was established in 2001 and covers 1,625 hectares. The nature is varied and offers lush deciduous forests, mighty cliffs with high rocks, flowing streams and wide views. The deeply cut valley at Skäralid is particularly popular. The valley is a crevice valley of mighty dimensions with vertical cliffs surrounding Skärån, which flows at the bottom. Lake Odensjön in Nackarpsdalen and the viewpoints Kopparhatten, Hjortsprånget and Lierna along Skäralidsdalen are also impressive places.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
