Småryd

In the nature reserve Småryd you can walk surrounded by Helsingborg's finest meadow deciduous forest. It consists of, among other things, proud oaks and beech trees that are more than a hundred years old. In Småryd there are several barbecue areas, a shelter and marked trails where you can walk or ride.

Here you can see many rare plants that thrive by the water mirror of the marsh or in the hay meadow to the north. The fine aquilegia with its purple and lime-colored flowers is only found in this place in the whole of Helsingborg. You can also see different kinds of beautiful orchids, the pale nightingale or the purple-pink woodruff, and the eye-catching cow parsnip night and day. In early summer, you can see the ground covered with the white star-shaped flowers of the wild garlic. Listen to the nightingale or look out for the raven. Look out for stoats, foxes, deer and badgers.
