Description

Lerjevallens outdoor area is located about 20 km north of Kristianstad at Lerjesjön. There are several shelters with barbecue areas, picnic tables, toilets, swimming areas and drinking water.

The trail starts and ends at the old ski slope. The days of skiing are over and today Skåneleden instead follows the slope's climb on the way south towards Arkelstorp. The hike takes you through the peaceful world of the forest landscape to later transition into a more open agricultural landscape.

On the way you will pass through old Arkelstorp and also past Arkelstorps Brunn. The well today serves as a venue for various events in a scenic environment. Previously, there was a guesthouse here where people from afar went to drink the purifying water and cure various ailments. The boarding house burned down in 1906 and in the 1930s the interest in "drinking well" gradually disappeared. When you arrive in Arkelstorp, you can buy provisions in the shop or take the bus to Kristianstad.
