Forsmöllan Klippan

At Forsmöllan there is a power station, which has long since been taken out of use. The dam is still there, and south of it Forsmölledammen spreads out. North of the power station, Rönneå forms small rapids up to the bridge over road 21.

Next to the river is the so-called Pepparkakshuset, a forge from the 19th century. Paper mill workers once lived there too. Klippans hembygdsförening received the building in 1974 as a gift from Klippans finpappersbruk.

In the river below the power station, you can see white-winged stilts in summer and common terns in winter.

West of the dam, paths lead up through larch and spruce forest. The paths take you on a varied tour through beech and birch forests and grazed pastures.
