Description

Klockarelyckan is a municipal nature reserve in the Skrylle area outside Lund. The historic pasture is within walking distance of Dalby's urban area. This pasture has no marked trails, but it is possible to wander freely among the juniper bushes. In the summer, the area offers both blackberries and the rare orchid Virgin Mary's keys. Avoid bringing dogs during the grazing period.

Dalby fälad is located southeast of Dalby's settlement. Historically, the field is a remnant of the village of Dalby's outfields. The land where the village's cattle have grazed together since Dalby was formed about 1000 years ago.

Parts of the field land have been used as fields, but now all of it is grazed. The land is rich in flowers and there are plenty of juniper bushes in the area. In the part with the highest nature value, you can see hundreds of orchids of the species Virgin Mary's keys. Other rare pasture plants include hay meadow saxifrage, pig's root, spruce spurge, sedge, meadowsweet and cuckoo flower. In the northeast there is a dry slope with other unusual meadow plants. Here you can find wild rose, wood anemone, sedge, clove, maidenhair fern and yellowhammer.

Along the edges grow blackberry bushes with berries that ripen in late summer. The berry bushes and flowers are also appreciated by the area's many butterflies, bumblebees and bees. And many of the species worth protecting depend on the land being grazed.

The reserve is located directly adjacent to Dalby urban area. There is both parking and public transport. In late summer there are plenty of blackberries here. But the area lacks facilities for outdoor life. Also keep in mind that there are grazing animals here from spring to fall and that we advise against dogs among the grazing animals. From the slopes there is a nice view of the open field landscape.
