Description
About 100 meters south of Fallingebergssjön, hidden in dense spruce forest, are the remains of an old wolf pit. It is said that the wolves were a severe nuisance in these areas in the early 1800s and large wolf pits were organized where several parishes joined together and went out of house. Wolf nets, wolf packs and wolf pits were various tools used in the hunt.
