Strömparken

Strömparken and Gästisparken are scenically located on the southern shore of Motala Ström and on both sides of the Old Strömbron bridge. Strömparken is on the west side of the bridge. Here stands artist Jussi Mäntinen's beautiful sculpture Tranan. It is depicted at the moment of flight, with wings and neck stretched. In 1950, the Crane was purchased.

In the park there are benches at the water's edge. Why not sit down here with a packed lunch or ice cream and enjoy the views? The beautiful old stone bridge in its current state was completed in 1787.

The park is mainly linden, maple and willow trees that provide shade on hot days.

A bicycle path in the park leads you to nice parking lots for motorhomes and then on to Motalabron and Dynudden.
