Description

The islands of Motala Bay are a nature reserve managed by Länsstyrelsen Östergötland. Sandön is one of the islands. The island is made up of sand, gravel and moraine. Here grows a beautiful linden forest where you can enjoy a rich flora. The island bears traces of old farmland. Sandön is the most accessible island in the Motala Bay nature reserve. On the island there is a firesite, WC and trash can. Shallow beaches make it difficult to enter the island by deep-sea boat. Within a certain area on the northeastern part of the island, it is allowed to camp for two nights.

Varför inte en guidad tur dit någon gång?

Vet ni någon som har båt som kan skjutsa ut?
