Odletslingan, Östgötaleden

Odletslingan is a hiking trail of contrasts. Barren cliffs and magnificent archipelago nature are interspersed with grazed green pastures. There is a small parking lot near Kvädö farm, where the loop starts. The cultivation loop is about 6 km long. In the middle of the loop there is a rest area with a fireplace. Here you are greeted by a beautiful view of the bay.

Along the trail there is also the opportunity to take a short detour to Örviken for swimming at the small sandy beach. Örviken was probably a night harbor during the Middle Ages, when a "Russian oven" was found, which indicates that ship crews spent the night ashore. It is also possible to take a short detour to a viewpoint over Stora Tjärholmen.

If you want a longer walk, it is possible to walk on to Ekuddenslingan.

GRAZING ANIMALS OCCUR ON LARGE PARTS OF THE ROUTE.

The County Administrative Board advises you not to take your dog into the pastures as it can make the grazing animals stressed and aggressive.
