Kopparholmarna

Visit the scenic islands of Kopparholmarna in the outer coastal band, either by boat or kayak. Here you can hike on marked trails and swim from flat rocks, there is also a small beach, you can stay overnight in a shelter with a barbecue area or book a cottage. Fishing with hand gear is also permitted from the islands. In summer, the nature and wreck exhibition in the middle of the island is open and staffed with hosts. Well worth a visit!

Book Lillstugan with sea view, sauna and shower A simple four-bed guest cottage equipped with fridge, stove and kitchen equipment is available for booking during the summer from June 18 to August 21 (bring your own sheets). Shower and sauna included. Drinking water is available on the island and does not need to be brought. Cost 600 SEK/night (max 2 nights). Only sauna with shower is possible to book on Saturdays 7 May-11 June and 27 August-17 September for 150 SEK/3 hours.

Communications

The Archipelago Line runs between Arkösund and Kopparholmarna every day during the summer. See the timetable and prices for Arkösund-Kopparholmarna at www.skargardslinjen.com

During the period July 8-August 14, the route is also served with a day trip on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Departure from Kopparholmarna at 12.45 and departure from Arkösund at 13.00.

You can also rent a kayak at Sköldvik's bathing place in Arkösund for a lovely silent paddle.
