Knäppeviken, fågeltorn

The bird tower in Sjöbo-Knäppan nature reserve is about 400 m from the reserve parking lot. The forest and reeds around the shores of Lake Boren are full of life and from the greenery you can hear rosefinches, nightingales and red-winged blackbirds mixed with the most discreet sounds of stone curlews and lesser spotted woodpeckers. During the spring, Boren's beaches boil with spawning frogs and the brown marsh harrier can be seen hunting over the reeds during the summer months.
