Hultsbruk, startplats

Around Ågelsjön there is a hiking trail that is 10 kilometers. The hiking trail starts and ends at Hultsbruk parking lot. There is a magical forest and high dramatic mountains that sometimes plunge straight into the clear water. Ågelsjön is also one of Sweden's most scenic climbing areas. At the parking lot there is a map of all the climbs that this plastic offers.

The loop goes through Ågelsjön Nature Reserve in a varied and scenic environment. It also offers some challenges in the steeper parts on the north side of the lake. At the lake there is a municipal bathing area with a small sandy beach and a handicapped-accessible bathing ramp. At the parking lot there is a picnic area, a wheelchair-accessible dry toilet and bins with waste sorting.

The path from the parking lot, past the swimming area, is graveled and accessible. There is also Lillebrors sagostig, a trail for children with illustrations from Jonna Björnstjeras picture book Sagan om den underbara familjen Kanin och monstret i skogen.
