Grytstriangeln

Discover Gryt's fantastic archipelago with the Gryt Triangle.

Perfect 3-day tour with overnight stays on Harstena and Häradskär, experience two unique islands with long archipelago history. Start from the kayak center on Ekön's nature reserve, then paddle up to Harstena with stops at Gubbö kupa and St.Skällö's sandy beach.

Then you paddle south towards Häradskär and pass Ytterö, through Laxvarp and pass Skräckskär before reaching the lighthouse on Häradskär which is Gryts landmark. You paddle in parts of the medieval King Valdemar's trail from the 13th century. The adventure and the experience that you find your own nice islands on the way that the inland ice has created. It gives a special feeling when you walk barefoot over polished rocks that are 1900 million years old.

Total distance approx. 40 km depending on which route you take and how many of the thousands of islands are in Grytsskärgård.
