This old freight depot was previously used at Strolången station, just south of Ringarum. It was probably built in 1906, the same year as the railroad between Valdemarsvik and Söderköping was inaugurated.
The building has a unique roof covering, with flat cement tiles that, unusually, are not laid sideways.
