Experience the varied Glotternskogen, a typical piece of wild and untamed Kolmårds nature!

The loop takes you in varied hills through older coniferous forest, rocky areas and moss-covered ground vegetation around the Glotternskogen nature reserve. The hike is described as moderately difficult as some parts are challenging, while others are easy. The reserve has undergone conservation burning and major infestations of spruce bark beetle. This means that there is a lot of dead wood, which benefits rare insect life and biodiversity. In damp hollows, there is a scent of pine and spruce.

The trail passes three lakes of varying sizes. There are no official bathing places here, but there are several opportunities for swimming. Perhaps you will find your own bathing rock. The loop can be shortened by taking the shortcut directly west from the start sign, making it 6 km.

There are shelters with dry toilets near the trail at Mela/Såggölen and at Nedre Glottern.

There are more difficult passages, stairs and ropes in the south along Nedre Glottern and footbridges in the northern part of the loop. The trail between the nature reserve's parking lot in the south and the windbreak at Nedre Glottern is accessible.
