Glotternskogen

In Glotternskogen you can hike through beautiful old natural forests or swim in the clear waters of Lake Glottern. If it's cold, you can warm up in the sauna! Here you are offered a mixture of spruce forests, rocky areas, pine bogs and damp hollows. The forest gives a wild impression with mossy blocks and old flames. The reserve has almost two miles of hiking trails. There are also shelters and a charcoal hut. An adventure for many tastes!

Important information! In this nature reserve, several spruces have been damaged and died due to spruce bark beetle infestation. These standing dead spruces become brittle, break off or fall over. Be extra careful in windy and rainy weather. This is when the risk of falling trees is highest. For your safety, be especially careful when passing through areas with dead spruce trees.
