Gästisparken

Strömparken and Gästisparken are scenically located on the southern bank of Motala Ström and on both sides of the Old Strömbron bridge. On the east side of the bridge is Gästisparken. There used to be a group of houses here dating back to the 14th century. At times it was both a tavern and a courthouse. In 1964, almost all the houses were demolished and today you can only see the foundations of one, Duke Johan's cellar. The old cottage by the bridge was also left, it is called the brewhouse and was a bakery.

In the park there are lime trees, maples, a blood beech, alders and an old cork tree.
