Description

In the crevasse valley where Trolldalen is located, a mighty ice river flowed when the ice sheet melted 10 000 years ago. The water polished the edges of the valley and set large rocks spinning, which drilled straight down into the rock and formed so-called giant pots. The steep valley sides are covered in old-growth forest with many rare mosses, lichens and fungi. The reserve is part of Natura 2000, the EU's network of valuable nature sites.

Directions

Follow signs from Frösvidal, which is about 1 mile northwest of Örebro. Keep left at the first intersection and right in the gravel pit and drive another few kilometers. Park at Igeltjärn. Walk from the parking lot 1.5 km to the reserve on the left.

Riktigt fin kuperad skog med bergstoppar och raviner. Tänk bara på att stigen är kuperad och rätt svår passerad på vissa ställen. Även nere i ravinen kan det vara halt och blött

mycket fin vandring i spännande och varierande miljö. troligen super kul om man har kids, då det är korsande av små bäckar över och under trädstammar.
